Objective: The overall objective of the SAFA campaign is to inform, inspire and engage youth for awareness and action for clean air through the American Spaces program. The specific objectives of this initiative are as follows:
- Mobilize and engage local youth and other stakeholders to conduct research and other hands-on activities on air pollution to raise awareness and encourage action.
- Interact with youth in eight different cities across Nepal to promote greater understanding about the status of air pollution, its sources and its impacts in Nepal
- Encourage and support youth to design and implement local initiatives to control air pollution.
