Good old days

As Nepal is facing major environmental problems due to the ever increasing consumption of fossil fuels and the resulting pollution and the heavy use of wood, timber and similar products as sources of energy that are causing environmental impacts like diminished soil fertility, indoor pollution, land degradation, loss of water sources and similar problems. There was a need for non governmental organizations to aware general public and to assist the government in achieving its plans of environmental protection and to assist in the gradual replacement of fossil fuels by clean energy sources by supporting research, study, discussion and debate and awareness campaigns to encourage the adoption of clean energy. Therefore, Clean Energy Nepal was established as a social, educational and investigative organization by a group of environmentalist, eco entrepreneurs, social architects and experts.
