Clean Energy Nepal and Clean Air Network Nepal in collaboration with Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Clean Air Asia, FK-Norway and UN-Habitat organized Kathmandu Sustainable Urban Mobility Forum (KSUMF). The main purpose of the forum is to bring the stakeholders together to discuss on the issues of sustainable urban mobility and air quality management issues in Kathmandu Valley, and enhance partnership among the stakeholders to tackle these problems. The program was focused on the non-motorized vehicles (NMVs), as the role and importance of such transport modes in urban mobility and economic development have been largely ignored in urban transport planning.
